Editor, Star-Free Press:

On behalf of the Camarillo YMCA Indian Guides/Princesses program, I would like to express our gratitude to all who attended our car wash fund-raiser, Saturday, April 23 at Carmen Plaza.  This continuing, generous support from the community has helped to keep our program strong and vibrant.  In today's society, it would seem particularly vital for our kids to develop strong, positive, enduring relationship with their dads (and moms).  That's what our program is all about.

I would also like to thank the "Car Wash Guys" for donating their professional expertise to our cause, in particular Chris, who spent six hours of his valuable time washing cars for us.

Last, but not least, I would like to thank Pat and his staff at Lampost Pizza for allowing us the space to wash the cars, for printing the tickets, donating the water and for supplying the kids and dads with sodas and coffee.   (Lampost Pizza has been a long-time loyal supporter of Indian Guides and Princesses, and once again we are grateful.)

In closing, I just want to reiterate our sincerest appreciation to all you civic-minded Camarillans and merchants who so selflessly support our program.

Assistant Nation Chief
