Bedford Open was pleased with support

Dear Editor:
Bedford Open School's PTSA recently hosted its 17th annual Artisan Faire and car wash fund-raiser at the Camarillo Community Center.  This event was once again a great success and we would like to publicly thank the following individuals and businesses for their contributions.

To begin we would like to thank the Pleasant Valley Recreation and Park District, especially Julian, Mark and Jim, who were so helpful.   We would also like to thank the following businesses for donating bags and baskets, and for giving us discounts: Savon, Pic & Save, Long's, Ralph's, Party Pleasers, Ponderosa Stationers and ACECO Rentals.  In addition, thank you to those merchants who helped in publicizing this event by allowing us to put up posters at their businesses.

Original letter which was sent to the Editor.A special note of commendation goes to Lance Winslow of The Car Wash Guys for hosting a car wash during the Artisan Faire.   Mr. Winslow gave up an entire day of business to wash cars for us, using his mobile car wash, and donated 100 percent of the proceeds to our school!  We really appreciate his generous support of our school and applaud his commitment to the community.

We would also like to express our appreciation to The Camarillo Daily News for their coverage of the Artisan Faire and car wash.

Finally our gratitude goes out to our community for their support by choosing to shop at the Artisan Faire and have their car washed at our fund-raiser.  We look forward to seeing you all again next year!

Linda Favacho,
Fund-raising Chairperson
