Letter to the EditorEditor, Star-Free Press:

The Bedford Open School PTSA, would like to thank The Car Wash Guys and Lamppost Pizza in Carmarillo.  During Bedford's car wash fund-raiser on June 12, The Car Wash Guys washed cars for four hours and donated 100 percent of the money collected to the Bedford PTSA.  Lamppost Pizza printed and distributed 6,000 car wash fliers, supplied the car wash volunteers with free cold drinks, and even donated a percentage of its profits during the fund-raiser.

The car wash proved to be a very fund and successful fund-raiser thanks to the generosity of The Car Wash Guys and Lamppost Pizza.   The money generated will be used by the PTSA to support many different programs for Bedford students, such as the find arts program and mini-courses, and will help pay the salary for a part-time kindergarten teacher.

These programs are very important to the children and would not be possible without the magnanimity of  individuals such as Lance Winslow III and Roy Lorty of The Car Wash Guys and Pat Lindsay, owner of Lamppost Pizza, who are willing to do what they can to help the children in our community.
