 In Kansas City it is incredible how inappropriate
the kind equipment some car wash competitors will operate. Here is an operator who
has a dual axle Big Tex trailer with a 500 gallon agricultural tank on the back, strapped
down with a 2-inch strap. Total strap capacity is 800 lbs. Total weight of
full tank: 4,100 lbs. On the front of the trailer is a 12 volt Hydroteck
machine with a 4 gallon per minute pump and 1800 psi machine. It probably couldn't
wash a dog house, except for the in-line injection acid sprayed onto customers paint
finishes and decals. If this unit makes it to a job site without the tank sliding
out on the freeway, I would be surprised.
