The wood floor on the trailer is rotten, and it squeaks going down the road. The whole machine jumped a foot, rolling out onto the street, while the driver was negotiating a mild speed bump. I guess if the whole unit falls off the trailer he can simply keep going. It is more than time to upgrade to "modern" technology. We talked to one of his customers who wasn't happy with the work, but was tolerant. He said, "You know, I give him work because I feel sorry for him." |
Here is an Omaha, Nebraska car wash competitor with
a 1976 steam cleaner, attempting to compete. This is the noisiest unit we have ever
heard. The operator said he mostly cleans restaurant hoods, yet we saw him cleaning
a truck - or should we say trying to clean a truck.
